Ruka (루카 luka) was born on March 20, 2002 (age 23) in Okayama, Japan. She is a main rapper and main dancer of the group BABYMONSTER.[1]

Predebut
On March 26, 2017, Ruka debuted as a member from the Blue Class of the Japanese idol group Shibu3 project as one of the founding members. She left the group in 2018.
2023-present: BABYMONSTER
On January 1, 2023, YG Entertainment released a video that confirmed the upcoming girl group's name to be "BABYMONSTER". In the same video, Ruka could be seen practicing, seemingly confirming her status as a member of the group.[2]
On February 6, the company released a live performance video, confirming her status as the member of the group.[3]
On February 9, Ruka's introduction video was released.[4]
On November 27, 2023, Ruka debuted " with the digital single BATTER UP as a main rapper and main dancer of BABYMONSTER.[5]
On April 1, 2024, Ruka debuted with complete members with the mini album BABYMONS7ER.[6]
On November 1, 2024, Ruka co-wrote and released the duet song "Woke Up In Tokyo" for the group's first studio album DRIP alongside Asa.
